Unfortunately we saw some significant down time these last couple of days. Long story short, poorly coded software driving the website caused it to go over our resource quota and our host was disabling the site to prevent the server from crashing.

Over the past 4 months traffic to the site has grown significantly and the crappy code broke the camels back. To resolve the issue software has been upgraded, additional caching functions installed and unfortunately the comment system removed.

I plan to locate an alternative commenting system soon. In the mean time please use the discussion forum if you need to discuss front page news. With all the caching systems operating now I would imagine the site loads much faster than it did, so its not all bad news.

Due to a common bug in the comments system, I am unable to PM codes through Ecogamer, so if the members mentioned below please PM me their Email so that I can get them sent out ASAP. Could everyone who either did not win on Saturday (and wants to enter today's or tomorrow's etc. draw), or members who entered after the cut off post for Saturday's draw please PM me (Chr15) their Email so I can send out the codes when the draw for the day ends. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be one of 2010's great games. It will be released on the 9th March on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Over the past couple of weeks, there has been a demo that has come to the PSN, Xbox Live and on the PC.

Bioshock 2 is set to be released on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 on Tuesday 9th February.
