Mercury Meltdown Revolution is currently available at JB Hi-Fi for only $10. The value score in this review was based on the game's original RRP and not the current bargain price.
Puzzle games are a dime a dozen these days. Their simplicity and addictiveness make them ideal for the pick up and play mentality that casual gamers possess. Originally starting on the Playstation Portable, the Mercury series finds its true home on the Nintendo Wii in Mercury Meltdown Revolution thanks to the Wiimote controls, but at times the game feels lacking when played on a home console.

Echoes is best described as a Geometry Wars clone, initially inspired by the old classic Asteroids. It has joypad support, modern motion blur effects and a small number of achievements to unlock.
Yeah, it's a bit like Asteroids hyperactive, drug crazed brother displayed in blur-o-vision and viewed through psychedelic sunglasses in a cheap nightclub.

The Playstation Portable is home to many Playstation 2 ports these
days. Sometimes they work great. Other times they can fall apart just
as easily. Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness comfortably sits alongside
the better games in one of the best PS2-PSP ports available.

Celestial Impact is a team based multiplayer first person shooter (FPS) taking place on various asteroids floating in space. But Celestial Impact is not your average team based multiplayer FPS. What makes this FPS really special is that the landscape is fully deformable in all directions, each impact on the landscape affecting it differently depending on the weapon used.
But it is not limited to destruction; the players also have the ability to add terrain to the landscape in the middle of combat using a special tool called Dirtgun. With the Dirtgun, players can add or remove terrain during combat as they see fit, simply by aiming and firing the dirtgun. Depending on the chosen action, this will either add or remove a chunk of dirt from the landscape. So as the teams are battling, the landscape receives vast changes opening up for various tactical approaches each team can use.

Dick Smith Power House

There has been some confusion and mixed results with the really good Dick Smith sale. It appears that different stores are doing vastly different things. Some stores have prices that properly reflect the $10 games found on the website and others do not, some Power House stores are still doing the 30% off others are not. This is probably because of the confusion around the sale supposedly been for the last long weekend as opposed to a financial year sale.
If you are after cheap games you simply need to investigate it yourself. People are still successfully getting games like Ninja Gaiden 2 for $20-30 by trading in these games at GAME, JB Hi-Fi and EB Games. Check the exclusion lists, search the DSE website and check the stores you intend on trading at because its still possible. Also, if you see Hotel Dusk lying around as a part of the $10 sale I WILL BUY IT FROM YOU :D
