Les Wiseman is Directing a Gears of War movie.  He was the Director of Die Hard 4, which was awesome.

According to IMDB the movie is due out in 2009.

Not alot of info is out on it yet, abit is on the EB games website, but it sounds as if it's going to follow the same story as the game.
